Office Manager Lake Havasu City
Experienced Office Manager with construction/contractor, scheduling, dispatch, Quickbooks, read blueprints, and take-off experience is wanted for full-time, long-term employment in Lake Havasu City, Arizona area. Busy plumbing contractor looking for a self-motivated individual to handle the day-to-day management of all of the office responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Includes but is not limited to planning for future projects, for underground utility locating, ordering any needed supplies, accounts receivable/payables, equipment, and install scheduling. Establish effective communication and problem-solving skills to serve as the primary point of contact for all questions and issues between clients and field staff. Also, ensure that contractual deadlines are met in a timely manner. Document and maintain accurate records of any projects.
- Facilitate scheduling of projects, meetings including phase planning, weekly work planning, and team schedule reviews.
- Build schedule detail based on construction drawings with input from the project team.
- Collect and input status updates.
- Attend and report on progress meetings.
- Identify changes to the project schedule.
- Notify teams of impacts to critical path activities.
- Ensure technical schedule integrity is maintained.
- Produce and distribute monthly and weekly schedules, forecasts, and reports.
- Manage outlook distribution lists and standard form emails.
- Maintain project schedule documentation.
- Develop and maintain the master project schedule (design, engineering, procurement, construction, milestones, earned value).
- Review critical path, relationship, constraints, and milestones.
- Track all project issues as they relate to the master schedule.
- Take field walks to verify project progress.
- Advance the data date and publish the schedule to interested parties.
- Interface with other departments to provide schedule data.
- Develop and maintain project indicators.
- Provide weekly reports to project management.
Work Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable & inventory control.
- Knowledge of construction materials, means, and methods.
- Inventory Control & Management
- Earned value implementation and monitoring experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and provide recommendations for best practices.
- Must possess a clean Driver’s License.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Accounting; AND
- Min 5 Years experience scheduling large construction projects, OR
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
